Food scene

This is a collection of my personal recommendations of places I have eaten and my regular go to depending on the occasion. I hope you have the opportunity to try 1 or more.
Being Australian I enjoy eating at restaurants that serve some quality Australian dishes with a twist. This place is great for breakfast, lunch and or a romantic evening. The most beautiful thing I find is the large glass windows that gives you a sense of outdoor dining, but indoors. A must if you are foodie like myself. www.Grainger.com

I love a relaxed casual place that’s local with proper delicious burgers and fries. It also has outdoor dining space if you like eating outdoors.

The lovely thing about The Harm Yard is you can go there for cocktails at the bar with friends for a catch up, or a romantic meal out in the courtyard that feels like you are on the set of Alice in Wonderland. It has an outdoor courtyard that is fine in the winter with outdoor heatings and of course during the summer the alfresco dinning experience. I have never tried breakfast or brunch, so if you do please let me know your experience.

If you would like a great British experience of high tea, go no further than this hotel that is not far away from where your are staying. It’s also lovely for lunch after shopping. If you go, do not forget to check out the library room, it’s divine and if you like interior design like myself you will appreciate the effort of checking it out.

I have been here for a work dinner and was blown away by the experience that this restaurant takes you on. You walk in and truly feel like you walking into a jungle garden and the food is Japanese with a twist. It;s rather expensive, but for me the experience is why this has made in in my guestbook.

I stumbled across this place when trying to find a place to eat before the cinema, which you can find that recommendation under my entertainment guidebook. The concept of the restaurant is combining Japanese and Middle Eastern cuisine and did a phenomenal job because the food is delicious. Make sure you save room for dessert, as they have some very yummy options.
