Its a beautifully restored castle with large grounds , a deer park and maze. Kids will love it but also very suitable for a romantic walk and drink or lunch in the stable cafe!
This is our favourite weekend bike ride with the family as its a lovely route through the countryside past local farm shops just on 20 min bike ride away.
Recommended also is to combine your bike ride with the nearby small pittoresk village of Haarzuilen which has two great retaurants for typical dutch pancakes!

Parks & Nature
This is one of the largeste parks of the Netherlands and only a 5 min bike ride away. It has a great adventure playground for kids next to a lovely restaurant tea room with a lovely outside terrace and view over the park and lake.
The park has a unique large footh and cycle path that cirles all around the park and makes the ideal paving for people on skeelers or roller blades! Dont forget to check out the butterfly garden and little pull ferry

We have the voted best supermarket in the Netherlands, our local Albert Heijn and a Lidl very close by.
Lidl we particularly love for their fresh bakery.
AH is open till 10 pm every night other than sunday!
