Great food and cosy atmosphere, worth checking their food deals on different week days, I think one was a pot of mussels and you get a free beer? There's a lovely outdoors veranda bit too where you can sit to eat

Our favourite local pub, they always have a great selection of beers, they do a mango cider I love and often a plum porter.. They often have events on like local music, quizzes, and stand up. Never too super busy, so good for a quieter drink and great atmosphere

I'd recommend getting the meat and cheese platter, £6 and it comes with sides like bread and olives and quince, they can tell you all about the meats and cheeses on the list, with some interesting ones to choose from.

Our favourite place for a night out, local LGBT club literally 10 minutes walk from our house. Great atmosphere, local drag acts and music, always end up meeting new people and chatting out in the beer garden. Love it here!

Located next to the Tesco express on the high street, just go up the stairs and you'll find this gaming cafe. No need to book ahead, you can just drop in and try some of their board games, great selection, and they do tea and coffee/cake too
