Belgian Style Waffle place, Ice Cream, Australian Dunedin outdoor dining. Breakfast Republic and COFFEE. This is the area to be right now but you DO NOT want to rent there because parking is hard to find! It's about a 10 minute drive. You can get all kinds of cuisines all price points. Parking Garage best option unless you go at non-peak times then street metered parking is also available. Replay Toys under the parking structure for cool cheap toys!

Liberty Public Market is for the Foodie in the family. Something for everyone to enjoy. Couple this with a trip to Cabrillo National Monument they are in close proximity. Great food scene. Not cheap but vast variety and fresh, crafted cuisine.

Parks & Nature
Plants and Animal exhibits are one of the best in the world! Must see and ride the gondola! Polar Bears are my favorite.

They have live animals and a little playground. It is free to go in and walk around. The plants are stunning and it's quiet. The restaurant on site almost always has live music at night. Also great brunch options with beermosas and a dedicated kid area.

Beach - you can almost always find Sand Dollars on this beach. Also the famous movie with Marilyn Monroe was filmed at the Hotel Del Coronado. It's beautiful and has historical value. Very iconic but also cool for residents too. In the winter you can actually ice skate on the property in front of the ocean!
