One side is a bar the other a lovely restaurant. A must try is the Bloody Mary which has a slim jim, Bacon, Cheese cubes and olives in it plus some things that I've probably forgotten.
The Shipwreck is delicious, they offer homemade soups and desserts as well.

The museum and the War Memorial on the beach are the only iconic sights we have besides the Mississippi River which runs East/West here.

Wonderful history of the Prairie, Some exhibits rotate so check out the website. There are mummies in the lower level which the kids go crazy over.

Awesome trails, the Pine Creek Grist Mill which still operates at times on the weekend it also offers a swimming hole where the water flows over the dam - quite a sight. You can see the Devil's Punch Bowl
Buffalo itself is good for a walk and we do have short bike path.

American Pickers is based out of LeClaire and you can visit their shop as well as all the little shops of LeClaire. It is a quaint town just a short drive away. Just beautiful and it's on the River.

Jeff's offers all the basics and a little more. It has a deli with prepared foods. I haven't made Fried Chicken since I tasted theirs 20 years ago. They cut their own meat.

At Circa you can enjoy a delicious meal served by "the bootleggers" who are singers/dancers that double as your waitstaff. Then you see a play such as The Bridges of Madison County or Mama Mia. The desserts are phenomenal. Circa 21 is in a hundred year old building.
