You have to go there to see the penguins, but plan to spend the day there. There is a great little public beach hidden between the boulders (not at the main tourist viewing site). The water is warm and it is well protected from the South Easter. Just go very early in the summer, as it gets full and entrance get restricted. Great snorkeling. Kids love it!
