Great historic Saloon with excellent pizza and mining memorabilia. It is a bar, but it is fine for families. Don't miss it just because it is a saloon. The steaks are great too. One of the better places to eat in Cooke City.

Charles Kuralt said this was the most beautiful highway in the country. Rises to 10,000 feet with beautiful wilderness views, lakes and wildflowers. Not to mention critters.

Wonderful 1.25 mile hike, pretty easy well-traveled trail to Pine Creek Falls. Good-sized falls, trail goes through woods and along creek. Dogs are welcome. Minute chance of seeing bears.

Beautiful city park that one can walk along the Yellowstone, play tennis, have a picnic, let small children play on a fantastic community built playground, fish in the lagoon. There is also a farmer's market on Wednesday's starting in June at 4:30 to 7:30. Fresh produce, hand-made crafts and live music. Very nice size and a must see.
