Forest Park is one of the largest urban green spaces in the United States. Leif Erikson Drive is an 11 mile road that is closed to cars. This trail in the park is well populated and I always feel safe here when I go alone. It's mostly flat after a slight elevation gain. A great place to run, bike or walk.
