Katrina Kanetani was head pastry chef at Pier Rose Bay Syd... she's moved up and opened this cute cafe. Great for breakast, brunch or afternoon tea. More traditional pastries - absolutely superb apple tart.
UPSTAIRS - Dinner
This restaurant has been awarded a hat for 5 years in a row. Degustation style dinner + I've been meaning to check this out for a long time. I'm sure Katrina will put on a great show.

Fleet recently received 2 HATS (Regional Restaurants) and best Regional Wine List for the 2017 Sydney Morning Herald Good Food Guide! This small and beautiful restaurant, run by Astrid McCormack and Josh Lewis (ex Vue De Monde) brings an exciting food experience to the Northern Rivers. The menu focusses on local, sustainable and seasonal produce that is transformed into truly special and flavoursome dishes... and that's not to mention the matched wines and cocktails that await. Fleet is open Thursday to Sunday. There's a late lunch sitting from 3pm and dinner sittings starting from 6.30pm.

Good coffee. Food can be quite good. Tiny tables though. It's directly accross the road from the beautiful Bruns River, so you can go for a stroll afterward or walk to the stunning Torakina Beach.

Quick high quality take away, curries, gourmet salads, pizza + her burgers are crazy delicious!! They're open morning til 7.30pm at night.
Don't let the totally backward looking small shop deceive you. Quirky, slightly backward and unexpectedly truly yummy simple food. 2 mins drive from the house. Food is excellent and quite reasonably priced. Donna the owner makes simple food put together with a great deal of love. She used to own a fine dining restaurant for 25 years, so she knows her stuff. You MUST try her curries + her chocolate brownies are insanely good.
