The Midway guys are friendly and helpful; there is an outdoor shower to wash off after being in the surf, on the sand dune to the right of the Surf club. Picnic tables. The restaurant on top of the surf club has a neat bar and outside area.

Amazing arboretum with wonderful walks, huge trees, ponds, gardens, gift shop and interactive education center for kids. An elegant cafe in the old homestead! Can sit in the beautiful dining room for excellent tea/coffee served by wonderfully friendly staff.

Took some guests who arrived from Aussie on a motorbike, as it looked like their kind of place, and they thought they'd arrived in biker's heaven!

The lookout on Kaiti Hill is great for panoramic views of the city and bay. There is a walk way up, or follow the road, by car or foot.
