Driving - Greenways
When driving in Edinburgh please be aware there are greenways. These are lanes dedicated to buses. Please read the signs. Many are time controlled eg only active Mon-Fri 7.30am-9.30am then again 4pm-6.30pm but some are 24/7.

Travelling by bus
Lothian bus number 44 serves Balerno.
The stop named Marchbank Drive is the first stop after the terminus and is the closest stop to our guest suite. It is a three minute walk away.
The bus circles around Balerno in one direction so when returning from the City centre, when the bus reaches the terminus stay on the bus for one more stop.
The easiest way to pay is to tap a contactless card. Use one card per person to ensure you get charged the cheapest fare. If you are on three or more buses your fare will be capped at the adult day ticket.
There is also a weekly cap.
