ARUVI is a good and clean veg restaurant which is just 5 minutes walk.
Other good veg restaurants are GEETHAM, MURUGAN IDDLY, ADYAR ANANDHA BHAVAN A2B etc. which are just 5 min by cab.
For nonveg lovers: Barbecue Nation, Copper Chimney etc are around.
Not to forget the 5 star hotels with high class restaurants within 5 minutes drive, like Residency Towers, Accord, The Park, Hyatt etc.
Ordering food by Swiggy or Zomato from any of your favorite restaurant is quick and easy too.

I do visit this Grand Sweets store to buy sweets and snacks to take to my friends abroad as they are popular. A bit slow service which I put up with for the quality. Coconut Boli and Dhaal Boli are my favorites!

Opposite to Reliance Fresh, there is a pharmacy "Arogya Pharmacy" where I buy, being a physician, a lot of medicines for self use and for friend's requests! You can reach this place in maximum 10min by car!!
