A local favorite! Great food, nice wine selection, and a friendly atmosphere & staff. It's usually pretty busy around dinnertime, so call ahead or be prepared to sit at the bar for a few while you wait for a table. Don't let that scare you, though--busy means it's GOOD! :)

Just start driving! The Kamehameha Highway, known to locals simply as "The Kam", starts south in Kaneohe & wraps all the way up the Windward (east) side of Oahu, up and around the north shore, ending in Haleiwa. There are numerous places to stop for a view, road-side produce, shops, etc.

It can get a little crowded on occasion, but I highly doubt you’ll notice when you’re in the water. Because it's located between the famed big wave surf spots of Waimea Bay and the Banzai Pipeline, you’ll have to make sure there are no large swells that day. October through April is considered Hawaii’s surf season, with waves peaking between December and February, so the summer months are the best time to snorkel Sharks Cove. Children aren't recommended. Parking fills up quick, so show up early or you'll have to hunt for another spot or try & sneak into the Foodland parking lot without

Another world-class surf spot, Sunset Beach also hosts some of the best surfers in the world. Oh, and don't forget about the sunsets--hence the name. No trip to the North Shore is complete without sitting on the sand and taking one in.

One of the most popular hikes on Oahu. Hike up and along the crater rim. Amazing views from the top of the trail. The park closes at 6pm and signs posted indicate that you are not allowed to head up the trail after 4:30pm.
