This is not a restaurant, more of a fast food or take away place. It is 20 meters from my building and they do make nice wok food made to order. Great for a quick Asian meal on the run or to take home.

You haven't been to Tbilisi if you haven't ridden the Funicular to the top of Mt. Mtatsminda! You can spend from one hour to a whole day there depending on what you want to do. Once you get to the top, you will have a wonderful view of Tbilisi which is already worth the trip. Their are a few restaurants in the complex at the top where you can enjoy the view and eat some great Georgian food. There is also an amusement park which kids will be happy to spend a whole day in - please note this is a modest park, nothing close to Disney. :) If you are not into amusement parks, but think you need a better view of Tbilisi, take a ride on the Ferris wheel!

6 Erekle II StThis is one of the few non smoking venues in Tbilisi. The interior and tapas menu is inspired by their travel to wine bars in France, Spain and Italy. The have a wide selection of Georgian wines, including eco wines, and a friendly staff.
This place is run by expats from the states. They have 2 locations - one behind the Opera and the other in Fabrika Hotel. They offer some homemade beers and have a beer pong room. In the summer they have outdoor seating and a BBQ food area.

Lolita is across the street from Rooms Hotel and, I believe, is managed by them. It is outdoor seating with an open kitchen and plenty of heaters to keep guests warm year round. It attracts a trendy local and international crowd. The menu is trendy and has very creative drinks. Whether you come for the food or drinks, you won't go wrong. It is table seating only - no bar. Service can be slow and reservations recommended in the evenings!
