Parks & Nature
If you feel like some fresh air we definitely recommend a wander down the road to Queen's Park. It is deceptively big and I even got lost there once....don't ask.
There are two ponds, two play areas, glasshouses and an aviary & pet house.

This place has a really nice vibe. There is plenty of music and rum. They also do legitimate Caribbean food (one of the owners is from the Caribbean). There is also a beer garden out the back. Always something going on here whether it is live music, a comedy gig or theatre performances.

This place is delicious. The food and the coffee are great. The service is also excellent. The staff always take the time to have a chat and you feel well looked after. One word of warning: if you are planning on going on a weekend day be in early otherwise you may have to wait for a table.
