This place is Magical...there is so much to see in terms of archaeology, plants, wildlife and culture. Many great walking routes.
Any time of the year is beautiful but you'll see more of a selection of plants in May.
I'd highly recommend taking a local expert guide as you'll definitely discover more. 'Heart of Burren Walks' by Tony Kirby is one of them.

This place is Magical...there is so much to see in terms of archaeology, plants, wildlife and culture. Many great walking routes.

A very scenic hike to the cliffs led by our local, expert guide, Pat Sweeney. He is so passionate about this trail and his enthusiasm is contagious. You won't regret doing this!

6km hike at Lough Avalla Loop walk. Beautiful place. Great for a hike. Harry the owner is very friendly and the place is a credit to him and his family, a man with a real love for the landscape that he lives in. The treat of fresh apple pie, brownies and tea in the farmhouse after is the icing on the cake!

A must see!! Spectacular views. It can get very busy in July and August so if you don't like crowds try to avoid it mid-day and visit in the morning or the evening instead.

Doolin Cave has the longest free-hanging stalactite in Europe. Since you'll be underground, you'll be able to escape the rain here!!
