Don't go on Saturdays, through the summer, though -- it'll be jam packed! It's right next to the famous Grants Pass Farmer's and Grower's Market and everybody goes there on Saturday mornings. It *is* worth the wait.

Nice Asian buffet with a floating-through-the-river-at-the-sushi-bar selection of freshly made sushi. Not the most fabulous sushi I've ever had in my life, but it's consistently a B+ and I go here all the time. Prices are reasonable for a seafood buffet. The absolute best restaurant in Grants Pass, in my opinion. If I want to take myself out for a great treat, this is where I go. They serve South American food that is freshly prepared. Love guacamole and chips? They make guacamole right at your table, and their chips are homemade in house. It's cozy and small and the staff are all friendly and make you feel right at home immediately. I would eat here every day if I could!

The food is okay; there are better places for food and/or drinks; but this place is decorated in the quintessential "Pacific Northwest" style, with amazing artwork inside the restaurant and outside. A great place to go before Christmas when they've put up their Christmas decorations, and the lights shimmer on the river -- and in the snow, if we're lucky enough to have snow. I just love being in and around the building and all of the art.

Excellent Thai cuisine. Make sure they're open before you go. I don't think I've had a bad meal there once, and always enjoy the food and the atmosphere.

This is where I take Kona to the Dog Park. There's a play area for kids, a couple of soccer areas, a running / walking track around the perimeter, and a bathroom. Small, but well-tended, and there's always people around. Free and open dawn to dusk.

This is a 16-minute drive from my home, located out of close proximity to most cell towers and antennas. I haven't actually been there yet but I'm going to check it out.

Go to the town of Rogue River, park next to the Chamber of Commerce building, cross the bridge heading back toward town, and take a left. You'll see the signs for the Greenway. It's a good place for a walk, a bike ride, walking the dog or the kids, or just getting out in the fresh air.

You'll see the signs for the Greenway. It's a good place for a walk, a bike ride, walking the dog or the kids, or just getting out in the fresh air.

Prettiest organic grocery store I've seen! Local, organic, no-GMO food. Their deli is open for breakfast and lunch and they have tables and chairs and a large space to eat. And, it's within a 10-minute walk from the house!

In the summer it's downtown, near the Historic G Street shops; in the winter it's very close by, at the fairgrounds. The Farmers and Growers Market really *IS* Grants Pass.
