The city of Chania is one the most beautiful and interesting cities of Crete.
It offers all you desire, shopping,art,culture, nightlife,unique architecture.
If you visit Chania at day,start your tour at the market hall.
Coming out at the north side and going down the stairs you are already at the Venetian old town. Many small streets with old buildings,shops, restaurants and a nice atmosphere.
Arriving at the port you can see the lighthouse and walk all along the large promenade.
You can visit the archaeological museum and the nautical museum.
As well you can take a look and an first impression and choose a nice restaurant or bar to spend the evening.
At evening there is a lot of traffic.
The best place to park your car is the market hall parking,called Markopoulou square. There's a lot of cars coming and going.If you wait you will find a place. Another good place is close to the city stadium.
Else, you can take the bus from Kampani or Kounoupidiana and come back by taxi.
There are taxis 24 hours every day at the market hall and at 1821 square

You will drive about 1 hour, crossing the mountains and you will see many little villages and a very wild landscape.
After the Imbros gorge, you can hold on an admire an panoramic view over the Libyan sea and with clear weather you can see the island of gavdos.
Arriving at Sfakia you can visit many nice beaches at Fragokstello or if you like hiking and swimming then walk the path Sfakia Loutro.
There is the possibility to reach Loutro even by boat.

Παραλία Πρέβελη
The most beautiful Palm Beach
with small waterfalls and jungle landscape.
About 1 hour and 30 minutes from our place by car.
At this trip the highlight is not only the palm beach!
First of all you ll drive through the wild Kourtalioti gorge.
Then before you start your hike to the palm beach,visit first the old historical preveli monastery.

After 1 hour you will arrive at Omalos. There you can park your car close to the entrance to the Samaria Gorge.

It will take about 7 hours to go and return.
On that hike,you will admire a view over the peaks of the mountains and arriving at Gigilos you can see all the west part of Crete and both sides of the coast!
