The Wentworth Stairs are located at the South end of Wentworth Street South.
These 498 steps are the most used escarpment stairs & during the summer it's estimated these steps are traversed 2000 times per day.

There are so many Waterfalls in Hamilton that it’s known as the City of Waterfalls. Many of the popular hiking trails lead to these beautiful falls. There is a fun little trail, tucked away in a forested area of the mountain structure. It’s a 6-minute drive or 33-minute walk from our house, which goes from the escarpment at Wentworth and goes east through the city, with multiple paths off the main one going up the side of the escarpment. Makes for a great stroll or bike ride with a city view.
