The Museum Ladin Ursus ladinicus, dedicated to the prehistoric bear of the Dolomites, was opened in July 2011 in San Cassiano in Val Badia. The three-storey exhibition acquaints visitors with the history and environment of the cave bear, which lived 40,000 years ago. Original bones, teeth and skulls of a new species of bear, named after the Ladin Ursus ladinicus, are shown. Video installations, a whole skeleton of a cave bear and a reproduction of the 'sleeping bear' enrich the exhibition. A separate section dedicated to the formation of the 'Pale Mountains' explains, through beautiful fossils, the main stages in the birth of the Dolomites.

The spa offers three different saunas: finnish sauna, bio sauna, hammam. It features a tea station, showers, and relax areas, both indoors and outdoors.
It is open every day from 3pm to 9pm.
Massages upon reservation (at an extra cost).
Open to external guests as well.
Entrance fee required and reservation is recommend to avoid disappointment.
