Our Home
This peaceful setting offers the perfect place for you and family or friends to relax, play on the water, fish, sunbathe, build snow people, snowmobile, shop, explore or just enjoy the view of every gorgeous season.
Our home is 3 bedrooms/ 2 bathrooms (but can sleep 9 easily.) Full kitchen with open concept living space upstairs. All appliances you should need, along with all household items such as dishes, cookware, towels hair drier, clothes steamer, washer and drier. Also have Wi-Fi, and smart TV's in Livingroom and bedrooms. You'll need your personal passwords for streaming Netflix, Hulu, etc. Many other channels for news and movies/tv shows.
Long term stays available upon request with special rates. Please inquire with owner. Great for travel nurses, Dr's or others needing more than a 1 week vacation.

Local New gym, cute ice cream and treat shop and another little corner shop with a deli and gift items. Everything you need so close.

Local New gym, cute ice cream and treat shop and another little corner shop with a deli and gift items. Everything you need so close.
Henning, MN and beyond...
Tiny country town with a beautiful park, bike ramps and play area for the kids. Very family oriented and people are so friendly. you'll notice everyone waves and says hello. Don't blink or you'll miss it but definitely worth a quick trip through.

Take a leisurely drive around this lake and end up in a quaint little Respert town. The homes are gorgeous and keep an eye out for the Pink house(so cute). So much to do in this town, something for everyone.

Detroit Lakes
Only about 25 min from home, Detroit Lakes offers many restaurants, great shops, fast food, Home Depot, Walmart and so much more. Take a leisurely drive around this lake and end up in a quaint little Respert town. The homes are gorgeous and keep an eye out for the Pink house(so cute). So much to do in this town, something for everyone.

Go on over to the golf course and have dinner here. It's picturesque setting is so relaxing. The food is really good and The management and staff are fantastic. Don't forget Tuesday is BINGO night at 6pm. Go early for good food, play some pool or darts, watch some sports and hopefully win big at Bingo.

Everyone has to see this! It's a fun side adventure between home and Battle lake. Sculptures made from scrap metal starting in the 80's. Some are really funny and just a great photo op.
Seems every town has sculptures out here from Chief Wananga in Battle lake to the Giant Otter in Ottertail and all the other statues that are just fun to see.

Such a beautiful lake our home sits on. Great fishing for Bass, Northern, Walleye and more. Enjoy the warm weather fishing or if you dare ... Ice fishing is a big deal out here too. We even have a couple fishing poles you can use during your stay.
Kayaking on this lake is perfect. We offer 2 kayaks for use with paddles and life vests for use during your stay with advanced reservation and deposit.
Water rentals available close by.
and lake access is 1/2 mile around the lake if you decide to rent water crafts, snowmobiles etc.
West Leaf Lake

Guest will have access to the entire house through the main door. There will be a smart lock with code that will be given.

Things to remember to bring...
I supply all basic amenities and even propane for BBQ , but you will need to bring your own beach towels, sunscreen, water toys/lake items. don’t forget to buy fishing license if you plan on fishing at all… very strict on that on the lakes around here.

Bringing children??
Great! just a reminder that there are many steps/stairs outside the home and a set of stairs to the lower level inside. There is a retractable gate at the top of stairs inside but by no means is this to be your only safety measure. It is more of a deterrent for little ones for a moment. Please be aware of children at all times as we hold no liability for accidents that may occur due to steps/stairs. Also the inside steps are a bit narrow so please be careful going up and down stairs.
