Visit Whitstable's fully fledged working harbour where you can wander around the harbour market and try the fresh seafood, including the world famous Whitstable oyster! Boat tours are available for visiting The Maunsell Forts or for seal spotting. Sail on Greta, a historic Thames sailing barge built in 1892 to transport cargo on the River Thames and the Thames Estuary. Perry Wood is a very special ancient woodland lying in Selling and Chilham parishes. It is designated as a Local Wildlife Site, used mostly for wildlife conservation and quiet recreation. The views are stunning and panoramic giving a unique perspective on the landscape of this part of the Kent Downs AONB (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty).
