Waikiki, located on the island of Oahu (also known as the gathering place) is an electric stretch of beach and city famously known to be the birthplace of surfing. Originally the waves here were considered to be so perfect that only the Ali'i (Hawaiian Royalty) were able to surf them.
But today these pristine, warm waters offer some of the most forgiving and fun waves in the world.
Waikiki beaches boast beautiful white sand with the famous backdrop of Diamond Head, the Hilton Hawaiian Lagoon, and sunset catamaran rides, all within walking distance.
Conveniently walk to world-class restaurants, enjoy hole-in-the-wall cafes, easily uber or drive to Chinatown for some delicious cuisine, or hop on the highway and head to the North Shore.
The condo is conveniently located right at the beginning of Waikiki, enough to keep you out of the hustle and bustle but to easily walk the main strip when you want to.
The neighborhood has a cute modern coffee shop directly across the road, multiple famous breakfast cafes, sushi restaurants, a few fun little bars, laundromat, hui bike rentals right across the street, and the beautiful Fort DeRussy park directly across the road.
