Only about 15min from the house it is great for hiking or mountain biking. Not too crowded, pet friendly and it's my favorite spot to go see the leaves changing colors in autumn.

Located along the Swamp RabbitTrail and only 5min from the house. They often have outdoor activities, such as movies and concerts, depending on the season, so be sure to check out their website for information, but my most favorite is the Farmer's Market on Saturday during the Summer time.

The brewery has a fantastic selection of beers on tap, with a constantly rotating selection that is sure to delight even the most discerning of palates. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and always eager to help you find the perfect beer.

My favorite is the Margarita pizza, but honestly you can't go wrong with whatever you choose, even their salads are quite amazing! The owners are really nice and the homemade icecream is quite the cherry on top.

I absolutely love Chicora Alley! The atmosphere is fantastic— The staff is super friendly. The mile-high nachos are a must-try, bursting with flavors that will tantalize your taste buds, but if you want something more settled such as a burger or something more healthier such as a caprice salad, they will have that too. Their cocktails are expertly crafted, and brunch on the weekends is a treat. The live music on Sundays and trivia on Wednesdays add an enjoyable and lively vibe to the experience. The pet-friendly patio is a the perfect touch, and the reason why I am there once or twice a week. And oh, the homemade desserts are heavenly, especially the oatmeal cookie with cream filling—it's simply to die for!
