There is nowhere better on a beautiful evening than a pint on the harbour wall, but make sure the Landrover is still running unless you mind a good walk back up through the village.

The bluebells woods are wonderful and have to be visited mid to late April to see the most stunning carpet of blue. Hartland is also wonderful for a walk in the autumn, especially on a windy day, when you can often see passing flocks of migrant skuas, terns, and shearwaters along with more unusual gulls on occasions
