The "Mike's" chain of restaurants locally are known for good food, but they don't hurry, so if you are in a hurry, probably want to choose another place. But if you have time, and want some "sports bar" ambiance, it's a good selection.

Our home is 5 minutes away from a really great golf course and it's reasonable too. Shepherds Crook is not a super long course, but each hole is fun and the greens are challenging.

Alpine Valley is in Elkhart and just under an hour from our house. The nice thing is that you typically won't have a lot of traffic heading there or back....although you might have a little hearing home from a concert. Cool place not too far from Lake Geneva, which is another cool place. :-)

Cool place not too far from Lake Geneva, which is another cool place. :-)

We actually do have a couple of small museums downtown. Kinda fun to learn more about Wisconsin.....we also have a Dinosaur Museum right across from the Courthouse/Post Office downtown. Small and limited hours, but kids love it.
