Huge restaurant bar in an amazing industrial style building. Tapas, dinner, drinks, coffee, all in a very open and social environment. Great both for dinner, or for later nights out on the town.

Huge park surrounding a lake, in easy walking distance down Alma Road from the apartment. Long walking track around the entire perimeter for the exercise junkies out there, or lots of trees and grass to have a nice sit down in a lovely peaceful area. Also scattered areas of play equipment for the kiddies :)

Huge park surrounding a lake, in easy walking distance down Alma Road from the apartment. If you have access to a car the Dandenong Ranges are a must for the nature buff, hikers, or just for lunch or 'Devonshire Tea' (scones with jam and cream and tea) out of the city. The Dandenong Ranges is one of my most special and loved parts of Melbourne. The little town of Sassafras is gorgeous for a couple hours of wandering around, boutique shopping, and a bite to eat. Or if you'd like to go on a proper walk, make sure you get to '1000 Steps'. This place is really something special!!

If you have access to a car the Dandenong Ranges are a must for the nature buff, hikers, or just for lunch or 'Devonshire Tea' (scones with jam and cream and tea) out of the city. The Dandenong Ranges is one of my most special and loved parts of Melbourne. The little town of Sassafras is gorgeous for a couple hours of wandering around, boutique shopping, and a bite to eat.
