Woodland with well maintained paths, leading to great views over the town. Go left from the house, turn right at the crossroads, and walk up Lightwood Road until you get to Corbar Road. Turn left and follow Corbar Rd until you reach Corbar Woods Lane. Turn right and follow it into the woods.

Beautiful little village about 15mins drive away. Exploring the huge caves - Peak cavern, Speedwell cavern, Treak Cliff cavern (and lots more) is a great wet weather activity. A walk up to Peveril Castle or Mam Tor provides stunning views over the peaks. The drive to Castleton itself is beautiful too. Try the Peak Hotel if you’re looking for a cosy pub drink after a long walk.
