Neighborhoods
The Plaza has some great local shops and restaurants as well as a great mural walk featuring OKC artists. My fav spots: The Press (southern comfort food), The Mule (amazing grilled cheese and great selection of beers), and DNA galleries. Live! on the plaza featuring live music, special events, and shopping happens every 2nd Friday, rain or shine.

In the district, you'll also find some shops (Thrown) and a great little park. Just down the street is Wheeler Park with the big ferris wheel and okc sign! tons of room to run around and toss a frisbee or lay in a hammock. Down the street, stop in the cash only Navaria La Azteca for some delicious treats (my fav is the lime popsicle.)

Expansive park with lots of live music! There's a huge hill (OKC's living room is what I call it), a small pond where you can rent paddleboats, and a great playground, splash pad, and outdoor roller skating area. Check the calendar for farmers market and the OKC night market.
