Sightseeing

Blue Mountain is a 2.2-mile hike in Blue Mountain Lake in the central Adirondacks. The trail is on conservation easement and public Forest Preserve in the Blue Mountain Wild Forest area. The hike is a steady climb, ascending 1,550 feet over a distance of 2.2 miles with many fairly steep and rocky stretches

This is a very popular area for birding, hiking, and walking, so you'll likely encounter other people while exploring. The best times to visit this trail are May through September. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash.

We offer many kinds of boat rentals from small handheld outboards perfect for fishing to large outboards ideal for skiing and tubing. We also rent both small and large pontoon boats. Kayaks, canoes, stand-up paddleboards, day sailors, sunfish, water skis, tubes, wakeboards, and many other vessels and water toys are available for rental or sale.
