Botanical Beach is an incredible place to visit and worth the 1 hour and 45 minute scenic drive. Best to visit during low tide, so you can view the tide pools filled with marine life. A visit to Renfrew Pub is also a must if you are in the area!

One of our favourite places to go. This easy, 2.5 km walking trail is located in Sooke Harbour. Surrounded by the ocean, birds and sea lions can often be spotted during your walk (an on very rare occasion an Orca). Grab a coffee and bring a jacket, the ocean breeze can be a bit chilly. A 25 min drive from our place.

One of our favourite places to go. This easy, 2.5 km walking trail is located in Sooke Harbour. The Sooke Potholes are deep, naturally carved and polished rock pools that were formed in the bedrock of Sooke River during the ice age about 15,000 years ago. Great hiking and swimming.
