Food scene
This is a local favorite spot! Amazing food and drinks, reasonably priced and friendly people. You can sit with a view of the water while enjoying fresh locally caught seafood and a refreshing cocktail.
*Traditional shower and toilets are also located at Blackwater Siren for our houseboats guests to use throughout their stay.
*The small boats you see next to the parking lot at Blackwater Siren are NOT the dinghy boats you will be using for your stay. Your dinghy is right down the street (painted blue dock you see in main picture).

Florida is known for it's hot sun so come prepared but also in case we have any rain showers you might want a raincoat while on the dinghy.. no need to worry about the rain while on the houseboat though, it's fully enclosed and extra cozy when it's raining!

Getting to and from our houseboat
Dinghy boat operation: Florida law requires anyone who was born on or after Jan. 1, 1988 to successfully complete an approved boating safety course and obtain a Boating Safety Education Identification Card issued by the FWC. If you were born before this date you will not need this identification. We recommend basic boating knowledge to operate the dinghy boat.

We highly recommend you check in BEFORE it gets dark and enjoy a beautiful sunset on the boat.

Swimsuit/ Trunks/ Water shoes
You can't come to the keys without proper swim gear!
Our guests enjoy swimming off the houseboat as it is very shallow and generally calm waters, but this is the open ocean so please respect the wildlife creatures you might encounter.

Flashlight or backup batteries
This experience is just like camping. Our houseboats come with lanterns but things do happen and if you plan on using them longer than normal we recommend bringing a backup flashlight or lantern.

Please do not use the linens/towels to remove makeup
Please be considerate of our linens and towels, we do our best to keep the place clean and hope you can help us by not leaving stains. We recommend packing makeup remover if needed.
