This is a bird paradise with a fantastic nature board walk. The Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge is unique in the USA and was established to protect fish and wildlife habitats.

Our favorite for hiking and swimming. The park, filled with trails, is abundant in old-growth trees and the huge forest lake is pristine. Barbeque spots, boat and kayak rentals available too!

One of our favorite hangouts: a well designed Waterfront Park with a board walk, marinas, art galleries, great sea food restaurants and lots of events. Beautiful South Puget Sound at it's best!

A wolf sanctuary and educational facility. Guided walking visits offer guests a rare, close-up view of wolves. We found the volunteers here just as amazing as the wolves!
