Rocky Mountain National Park is only 45 minutes from the Hilltop Hideaway. You’ll need a National Parks pass (sold daily, weekly, or annually) to access the park. Getting a beer at a local brewery

Colorado is known for delicious local beer! We suggest Verboten Brewery or Berthoud Brewing Company in Loveland although you really can't go wrong with any local brewery.

Bring layers and hiking shoes

Colorado weather can be hard to predict. It's sunny most of the time, but even if the sun it can get chilly in the mountains. Be sure to bring a few layers and some sturdy shoes for all of the hiking you'll be doing!
