Close Hiking Trail - Las Trampas Regional Trail

Just a few steps away from our house is the trailhead. Either goes East on Stone Valley to the wood bridge on the right w/ tail marker and walk up the wooded street to find the path behind a big white mansion. Or access the trailhead at Justin Morgan Drive (West of our house) next to the private gates of the subdivision. Walk up the street and the uphill drive where you'll run into the trail. The tail has a fabulous view of Mt. Diablo and valley. Take it to Hap Magee Ranch and cross over to Iron Horse Trail back to Alamo and Stone Valley Road. Good hike to lunch downtown and walk back.
