When in search for a restaurant near by Pier 7 is the choice. with 7 restaurants in 1 location you are bound to find your choice. You can see Pier 7 from the Loft opposite the marina. Asia Asia has a cool all you can eat package on Saturday afternoon for sushi dimsums and wine. The jungle theme brunch in Mamazonia is a winner. The top floors have a club and a roof top lounge with great vibes. booking ahead is always recommended especially in winter

Sheikh Zayed RoadWhen in search for a restaurant near by Pier 7 is the choice. with 7 restaurants in 1 location you are bound to find your choice. Restaurant
A selection of my favorite restaurants- but just a selection and there are more so do not hesitate to reach out for additional suggestions if needed. All these restaurants have the golden 3 : good location great food and excellent service.
Jetty Lounge probably my favorite place in Dubai for a quite night out, its a short 10 mins drive from the flat. Nestled on the beach in One& Only Royal Mirage, offers insta worthy views of the Marina, JBR, Blue waters and the Palm. Reasonably priced drinks and tasty appetizers - not much of a restaurant though- its the place you go after the restaurant to lounge with cool tunes in the background, your feet on the sand and a cocktail in hand.
tip : avoid the 1 min cart ride, the stroll through the lush gardens to the beach is merely 3 mins and very relaxing.

King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud StreetJetty Lounge probably my favorite place in Dubai for a quite night out, its a short 10 mins drive from the flat. Nestled on the beach in One& Only Royal Mirage, offers insta worthy views of the Marina, JBR, Blue waters and the Palm. Reasonably priced drinks and tasty appetizers - not much of a restaurant though- its the place you go after the restaurant to lounge with cool tunes in the background, your feet on the sand and a cocktail in hand.
tip : avoid the 1 min cart ride, the stroll through the lush gardens to the beach is merely 3 mins and very relaxing.
Authentic Japanese food in a fabulous decor! love love love it but will weigh a bit on the purse. Def go for brunch if you are staying over a Friday

Authentic local food, with the most amazing flat bread you will ever taste.
It's and all-day dining but I recommend breakfast before 12. be patient as it can take some time to seat you and there are no reservations. but it will be worth the wait.
the place is about 30 mins and its in the historical district Al Fahidi, make a day trip out of it and stroll in the old town or take a near by abra for a crossing over the canal or discover the souks nearby including the textile one which is a 5 mins walk from the restarant.

where to start? the place, the view, setting atmospheres, service, THE FOOOOOD! A+ on all accounts and you'll get some pretty awesome foodie pics too. As delicious on the eye as in the mouth. One of my favourite places to brunch or breakfast -.Oh and its on the palm 😉 The rose tea, the infused waters, the seafood or mushroom pasta, the burrata....miam. You'll wish you had a second stomach. And the Service is top notch. Friendly and Swift.

5 mins walk from the flat will get you to this beach wit all the S : sun sand sea and shopping. oh and a loads of restaurants and lounges to chill at. Can get a bit busy at times so do check out the other recommendations for quiter options

Wanna check out a different beach out of JBR- Try kite beach- a 20 mins drive from the flat to Umm Suqeim - Offers a long "never ending" walk by the beach with great views of Burj Al Arab. or a dip in the sea.

25 mins drive from the flat to this chill and eclectic beachfront. Packed with restaurants and acitvities. The Argenian grill is a cool place to eat while there - they make a mean guacamole to your taste right infront of you!

Malls & Grocery
Take a look out side the immense Loft windows and thats the Marina mall framed for you. Its a quick 5 mins drive or 10 mins walk ( dont attempt the walk in peak of summer- you might get cooked alive). Its a more friendly sized mall in comparison to the Dubai mall or Mall of Emirates. You will find the usual suspects in terms of brands, a food court, adjacent restaurants and grocery shop. African Eastern is tucked away in the parking area for the bevvy, you are welcome 😉

Coutyard is what you get when you put an art gallery, a theatre, coffee & juice bar, an incubator business center, a bistro, flower boutique, unique home accessories and gift shop, printing, film and photography studios and spaces for interior designers and artists ....in an alley with greenery. Coffee lovers must visit Boston Lane while there. Coutyard is opposite Alserkal, which you definitely want to check out.
