Chester Zoo is a great day out for all the family and only a 25 minute drive away. With over 20,000 animals and 120 acres of zoological gardens to explore you'll be kept well entertained. There are also numerous cafes and drinks stops along the way or pack up a picnic and enjoy it in one of the designated picnic areas

Just 1.5 miles from your cottage takes you to the Whitegate Way which is then totally off road. Originally railway lines for heavy goods these are now manmade tracks suitable for dog walkers, cyclists, riders and wheelchairs, it’s an easy route stretching 6 miles.
Start or finish your walk at the Station Café, the choice is yours.
