Playgrounds and pools!
There are several great playgrounds and the one at Godfrey's Beach has the most spectacular views, great access to the beach and a perfect spot for a picnic or onsite barbecue.

We live on the North West Coast ourselves and repeatedly say and tell others that this is the most underrated public facility going about! It is such an amazing facility and has plenty of options for everyone. If the weather is foul and you need to get out and explore - this is a great option!

Food scene
This is a must do short trip!
Located only a short 25 minute drive from the East Inlet, find yourself in an awesome cafe serving some of our favorite foods. The honey for sale is divine and they have a great interpretation centre.
An awesome half day trip is:
-drive out to Dip Falls (5 minutes past Blue Hills Honey on the same road) and do the short walk to the bottom of the falls or witness them from the easier top access level.
-once you've burnt some energy head back to Blue Hills Honey for some much needed re-fuelling

Sightseeing
The first thing you see driving along the coast to Stanley is 'The Nut'. It is steeped in history and looks fantastic from every angle. If you are up for a challenge walk up to the top or if you'd rather enjoy the view whilst not getting up a puff - take the chairlift!

Did you want a bit longer day trip? Marrawah is approx. 1 hour drive from The East Inlet and is renowned for big surf and it's rugged coast line. Time your trip with stopping in for a meal at the well known Marrawah Tavern - call ahead to make sure they are open.

Having done the walks on offer in the National Park several times, we still don't get sick of visiting. It is truly spectacular. More difficult than other walks in the area but certainly worth exploring. Short and long walk options available.
