Loved the loud 80s music. We sat on swings round a table and watched the most interesting people come and go, like heavily tatooed bikers and the like. Don't even remember the food, must have been ok.

They have eat all you can prawn feasts, and reasonable seafood, but the beauty is in the idyllic setting. pink tinged fairytale beach with boulders and penguins dotted around, going about their business and entertaining the diners. So special.

Gentle walk through the green belt between the houses of Constantia. Prolific birdlife, river and forest setting. Meet locals walking their dogs or jogging, or birdwatching groups, or scouts on a mission. So peaceful.

A world heritage site, Cape Point is a nature reserve in the Table Mountain National Park, at the tip of the Cape Peninsular. The famous 'Cape of Storms' as it was named by Bartolmeu Dias, can be best be viewed by taking a 3 minute funicular up to the highest point. You can then hike out along the ridge to the very tip of the point, visiting the pristine little beaches and coves along the way, to view the vastness of the ocean at the very tip. Definitely a must-see, one of my favorite places on earth.

A great place to spend a hot day picnicking amongst the rocks on the edge, and swimming in the dam. It is part of the Silvermine Nature Reserve. There is an entrance fee so bringing a picnic and making a day of it is the thing to do. A scenic walkway takes you around the edge of the whole dam.

Most ecologically diverse area for birding and flowers. And the West Coast is just a beautiful natural wild place where I love to be.
