When Isaac first moved to Colorado Springs from South Korea in 2013, he tried every Sushi restaurant in the city. Sushi Ai was the clear winner in 2013 and is still the family favorite today. It’s unassuming in both location and atmosphere but is truly the best sushi we have had here. Must try rolls: Ai Roll, Dragon Roll and Godzilla Roll. If you want dessert, their tempura cheesecake is pretty amazing….

The best Thai food in town. If you like Thai food, this is the place. Some favorites are the golden shrimp, crab rangoon and the red curry.

This is a very special place to have dinner. If you want to have a nice dinner while you're on vacation, this is THE place. Get reservations at least 3 days in advance because they are always booked. Their bulgogi and noodles was the best I have ever had and I used to live in Seoul, Korea. Food types vary and are based on what is in season and what the chef can get the best of. They are less than 2 years old and are getting rave reviews and have already been featured on the Food network. Definitely a must try restaurant and it is only 5 minutes from your lodging!

All the donuts served here are gluten free/celiac safe and boy are they ever so good! Serving both boba drinks and donuts, Mochi Thai'm is a great place to take your family to try something new and delicious. We recommend the Ube glazed donuts -they are our favourite!

A little taste of Europe right in the bustling heart of Colorado Springs. This place is a real treat to visit. The staff is incredibly friendly and the baked goods are always delicious. We recommend the Double Belgian Mousse Cake. They are available every morning and, if your lucky, you may even be able to snag one in the afternoon but it's better not to wait because these things can go fast! We prefer NOT to share this cake with friends as we love it that much!

The staff is incredibly friendly and the baked goods are always delicious. We recommend the Double Belgian Mousse Cake. We prefer NOT to share this cake with friends as we love it that much!

This is not in the best part of town and there is no atmosphere outside of being a butcher shop and grocery store. With all the negatives aside, you won’t find a better taco in Colorado Springs. Isaac lived in Ecuador and has spent a lot of time in Mexico. Every Tuesday Isaac and his colleagues go get tacos around Colorado Springs. After a year of trying everything our city has to offer, they all decided Carniceria Fruiteria is the best place to get tacos. The Barbacoa tacos are the easy favorite with El Pastor coming in a close second. Be careful with the salsas as one of them will ruin your day it’s so spicy. The prices are very inexpensive with tacos only costing about $2 each. If you’re in this part of town and need a cheap amazing lunch, this is the place to go.

Mountain Biking
Ute Valley has some phenomenal mountain biking trails. There are varied skill levels and distances for many skill levels of rider. The trails were built by a professional trail building team that the city paid from Soleida. It's a really great place to ride and isn't super far away.

Great place to ride with some awesome views. Both Palmer Park and Ute Valley are in the city so it's a really cool place to ride since you feel like you're in the mountains but you're not far from any amenity. This is also a great place to hike.

Hiking
This hike is not for the faint of heart. If you aren't used to elevation or aren't in great shape, we wouldn't recommend it. It's a trail straight up a mountain with no switchbacks. Absolutely brutal hike but the views are amazing and it's very satisfying to complete.

The Incline
The InclineThis hike is not for the faint of heart. If you aren't used to elevation or aren't in great shape, we wouldn't recommend it. It's a trail straight up a mountain with no switchbacks. Absolutely brutal hike but the views are amazing and it's very satisfying to complete.
This is a super fun place to hike around in. The elevation gain is not bad and there are a lot of tame trails. You can get into some steeper elevation and distance the farther back you go. Great place to hike or bike for all skill levels.

Just 4 minutes from the house. It's a wonderful place to hike or bike. The full loop is about 8 miles. It will show you Black Forest. You'll be able to see part of the burn scare from the 2013 Black Forest Fire as well as enjoy the beautiful forest.

This zoo is a great place to spend the day with your family. We love this indoor play area for days when it's too much weather to be out of doors. There is a big three story slide for the big kids, a room specifically for toddlers to play in, an indoor play gym, and... Whit's End itself! Granted, Mr. Whitaker does not work there but if you want, you can buy ice cream with all the toppings from them.

It's because they have a Ferris wheel indoors.
And a candy store.
And a miniature bowling alley.
And a shooting arcade.
And a cool aquarium built into the pillars as you walk in the front doors....
I know it's silly but I have yet to take a kid here who didn't have a good time.
