A state park left in a more natural environment than many. This is a park where you park your car at the entrance an walk form there. Being at the north end of the peninsula, it is much more wooded with great trails and spectacular Lake Michigan access. Well worth the trip if you're looking the see the splendor of the woods.

Another Great State Park looking over Sturgeon Bay and Lake Michigan. Great drive, plenty of trails to walk. The observation tower is well worth the stairs (and open as of 5/21/21).

Very close to residence. Wonderful natural beach, pier, and launch for small boats. Wonderful sunset views here.

Likely our only restaurant suggestion at least for now. GREAT place for kids. If you can get a seat at the bar, lunch gets delivered via a Lionel Train car. Good stop especially of you are crossing the peninsula.

Driving the peninsula
Suggest strongly finding the "less traveled" paths to get up and down the peninsula. For instance, Route 42 will get you from Sturgeon Bay to Egg Harbor quickly, but County B to County G will get you there with wonderful views especially around sunset.
Another example: When traveling from Egg Harbor to Fish Creek, suggest using Bluff Road rather than Highway 42. It runs from the boat launch north and well worth the extra few minutes of driving.
