This place won't be everyone's cup of tea, but it is my favorite neighborhood watering hole. I love the friendly bartenders, TouchTunes jukebox, and dartboard. There is an outdoor patio and this is a good place to come watch one of the sports on TV.

This restaurant is a gem! it is very close to the house, less than ten minutes on foot. The restaurant is very well-appointed with the friendliest owner and staff, scrumptious yum yums and tasty drinky poos. Have I mentioned that their chef was nominated for a James Beard award?!!

While I have to admit that I have never gone to the museum, I love to walk the extensive trails here that take you through field and forest along the Winooski River. I've seen owls here on occasion, as well as snakes, birds, beavers, etc.

This is about a half hour drive from Burlington. It's a small mountain that can be hiked in 45 minutes or less with stunning views of Lake Champlain and the Adirondacks.

I love this little shop! It has great jewelry, cards, accessories, and cute and unique knick knacks, candles, etc. The owner is a badass who is an awesome dog mom and an all-around wonderful human; support a small local shop today!

A lot of her stuff is sold at shops around town and the summer farmer's market, but this is her shop that has it all. It's located in the Soda Plant on Pine Street in the South End which also has other cool shops to check out

At the barn there are chickens, goats, cows, and pigs. Kids will have the opportunity milk a cow, take a tractor ride, and sample cheeses that are made onsite.
