I cycle this regularly. This is a cycling, running, walking (and eagle-watching!) trail that runs from Pittsburgh to Maryland, then turns into the C&O Canal and runs to D.C. It attracts one-million visitors annually. A mix of pavement and shale—this starts as a city trail and turns rural as you move out of the city. Rent from City Bikes or Golden Triangle Rentals (they have E-bikes). This trail is my sanity and I cannot recommend it enough. Frankly, I think you should get out of the city and cycle the rural parts, it is THAT beautiful. I have cycled all sections from Pittsburgh to Frostburg, MD and I can tell you, this trail has my heart. <3

If you’re in town and run into trouble, there are great, safe, reliable places. I have used both (Walter's when I used to work down the street and Quick Fix is my current mechanic and is within walking distance of my house).
Just look at their Yelp reviews! You’ll never see this for a mechanic. I’ve been many times. They clearly communicate and are fair. If you are in a bind and have to get to a mechanic while you’re here, this is who I recommend , but it’s a smidge out of the way.
