Williams River - Great for water sport activities including skiing, wakeboarding and tubing. Both Raymond Terrace & Seaham boats ramps (Lower Williams River) have good access for large boats and are 10min drive from the cottage. Access to Clarence town boat ramp for the Upper Williams River is 25-30min from the cottage. It is important to note there are restricted section of the river with respect to slow towing including wakeboarding, knee boarding and tubing.
Seaham Weir (Williams River) or Clarence Town (Williams River) - These are section of river are perfect for SUP or Kayaks. Base yourself from either the Seaham or Clarence Town boat ramp/Park.

Stretch your legs by climbing the challenging Yacaaba Headland walking track, a hike that rewards with spectacular views over the headland of Port Stephens. Follow the Dark Point walking track through dunes to Dark Point Aboriginal Place, a significant gathering place for Worimi Aboriginal people for more than 4,000 years.
Near Hawks Nest, in Myall Lakes National Park, the Mungo Walking Track features Aboriginal sites and mountain biking. This track joins Mungo Brush campground on the trail along Bombah Broadwater to Hawks Nest. Don’t forget to check out dolphin cruises in nearby Nelson Bay, only a short ferry ride away.
