This village is just 10 minuites walk. We are very lucky to live above this unspoilt part of the world. The village has a fantastic village shop, a cafe, restaurant, ice cream parlour that also make the most amazing pizza! A village pub on the edge of the headland with views over to lowland point and Chynalls. You can sit in or out, in the garden or down on the harbour. The beach is a perfect balance of rock pools and sand. You can have windsurfing lessons, hire kayaks and paddle boards or just lounge about enjoying the time pass!

A beautiful tidal cove with fantastic geological features, caves and a blow hole! A good cafe and National Trust carpark above. This beach gets enormously busy during peak season due to featuring in many films and TV series including Poldark.

Marazion Village has some lovely galleries and eateries. The beach is long and sandy and when the tide is right you can walk the causeway to St Michaels Mount, which is run by the National Trust. If you love history, this castle is well worth the visit.

It will take about an hour via the shortest route, or just under 2 hours following the coast path via Lowland point. If your cycling by road - about 15-20 minutes.

You can do a lovely walk from Penrose carpark in Helston to Porthleven and then sit and eat freshly cooked mussels at the Mussel Shoal at the head of the harbour. This is a favourite for us!
