Gömmaren is a small lake surrounded by forest, located within a 20 mins walking distance or 5 min by car from the house. It has a small beach which is well suited for children, two doggy bathing areas, and you can walk the one hour trail around the lake which is part of a Nature Reserve.
There is a trail you can follow around the lake. From the house and around the lake, will take you a little more than an hour if you keep a moderate pace.
You can bathe around most parts of the lake with easy access, and pick blueberries when they are in season. In some parts you will even find wild raspberries & lingonberries.
It is easier to walk to the lake as parking is limited. If you take your car, make sure to park within the indicated spaces, as parking tickets are given out on a daily basis to those who park outside the permitted areas.
There is no kiosk or restaurant, so bring snacks & drinks with you.

During winter there is skiing & snowboarding. Before the snow comes, there are great mountain biking trails.
