Best time to hike is before sunrise. Hike in with headlamps. Give yourself 45 minutes from trail head to Point before sunrise. Watch for the Elk on your drive thru the valley to get to road that takes you to trailhead.

It's on the other side of Jasper so it takes about 45 minutes to get there from Cottage. It's a great short hike with a great view for people that aren't necessarily in shape.
