They’re brilliant places to walk and are only about a 15 minute drive from our property.
The Great Pond has a beach, sailing club and food shack.
The Little Pond has a NT food shack opening times vary … but if open the Hot Chocolate is yummy. This is a very popular place for filming too and sometimes interesting sets are there.

The house also houses The Oates Museum .. in memory of the Oates family including the hero Captain Lawrence Oates who famously sacrificed himself during Scott's Polar expedition uttering the phrase 'I'm just going outside and may be sometime" ...
There is also a handsome tea room.
Good place to visit combined with Jane Austen's Home or a walk at The Hangers.

Only 7 miles away, near Farnham. A nice place to have a mooch around with a variety of birds … we particularly like it in the colder months. Little Tea Room and Shop there too.

This is off the road running between Petersfield and Midhurst. Tasty lunch .. or you can book an afternoon tea. There is a farm shop, antique shop, Emporium and small art gallery too. Favourite place for us!

Local village with two shopping streets .. offering the basics to a few speciality shops .. including Hill & Co for gifts and brocante. There is also a great vintage clothes shop. Rose Tea Rooms offers good food. Alternatively, Grayshott Pottery has it's own cafe to rest your feet after browsing.
