Stunning scenery and lots to do - Tamborine Mountain is worth exploring with the whole family. Head to TreeTops Challenge with the kids (booking in advance needed), the Botanical Gardens for a picnic, some beautiful bush walks and a stroll around town. It's a fun day out.

If you're looking for one of the best breakfasts on the Gold Coast we recommend our local Mudjira, voted GC's best breakfast a few years running. Located at Mudgeeraba Village, it's a must. While there you can also pick up supplies from our local Woolworths and the bottleshop is just around the corner, too.

The Barn at Eco Studio Fellini opened recently and already, local folks are scrambling to get a table and it’s not hard to see why. It’s set within the bushland of Springbrook and it’s literally a barn that was once home to the landowners and has since been transformed into a restaurant complete with fireplaces, a mini antiques museum, a sprawling outdoor deck overlooking the bush and the baby animal pen. Yummy food too.

It’s set within the bushland of Springbrook and it’s literally a barn that was once home to the landowners and has since been transformed into a restaurant complete with fireplaces, a mini antiques museum, a sprawling outdoor deck overlooking the bush and the baby animal pen. Yummy food too.
Delicious, mouth-watering pizza joint perfect for kids and families after a long day at the beach. Snag a seat in the garden and kick back with a chilled beverage as you peruse the plentiful menu at JFK Woodfire Kitchen & Bar. The 16-stong pizza selection offers some seriously mouthwatering options such as wood-roasted pork belly with caramalised pineapple, sage, feta and actual pork crackling and the venue’s specialty, bourbon chicken and bacon topped with a couple of sticky chicken wings. To make the decision even more difficult, JFK also offers gourmet burgers, refreshingly vibrant salads and mains for those who aren’t good at sharing food (don’t worry, we don’t judge you). The superbly tender JFK signature beef and crispy fried cheese ravioli are difficult to pass up. Alongside the extensive selection of nosh, the bar is bursting with craft beers, wine and some tasty cocktail concoctions. Bookings essential.
