Sightseeing
Great beach to go for a dip in the bay. It is a short walk down to the end of the street and you will be on the beach. The bike and walking track there is also a great way to get some exercise whilst looking at the view. There are gym stations dotted along the way and a grassy/tree area for picnics in the shade. It is ideal for families wanting bbqs and picnics with a safe place for swimming. The nets are dotted along the beachfront for safe swimming. It is ideal for many water sports. There are cafes, fish and chip shops and bakeries along the walk way also in both directions.
Monterey also has Scarborough Park which has large Football Cricket and sporting areas with a playground for childen. Ideal for dogwalking, bushwalking in nature and just exploring the river and bush tracks lining the waterways.

Brighton-Le-Sands
Many restaurants, cafes, beach eateries and ice cream parlours. This area has numerous eateries catering to all types of food sweet and savoury. The beach is a popular summer spot for visitors from other areas of Sydney looking for swimming and picnics with the bike and walking track going in both directions.
Once again another section on the bay which is within walking/biking distance from my place. Similar to Monterey and Brighton-Le-Sands as it is ideal for spending time relaxing in the park or beach. There are once again many shops, cafes and a small group of essential stores eg Coles, Pharmacy, Medical Centre etc here. Great place to explore also.

Ramsgate Beach
Once again another section on the bay which is within walking/biking distance from my place. Similar to Monterey and Brighton-Le-Sands as it is ideal for spending time relaxing in the park or beach. There are once again many shops, cafes and a small group of essential stores eg Coles, Pharmacy, Medical Centre etc here. Great place to explore also.
